Interested in auditioning for After Dark?
Auditions for the 2026-2027 school year will be August 31-September 4, with callbacks on September 5-6! Here is some information on what auditions look like:
Don’t be nervous! Auditions are around 10 minutes, and you can sign up for one on any of the dates listed above. We ask that you prepare a short solo, typically a verse and a chorus of a song of your choice. In terms of what kind of song, pick one that shows off your voice and makes you feel confident. The key is to choose whatever best showcases you and your voice!
We will also have you complete a test of range, some tonal memory exercises, and a short sight reading excerpt. But don’t worry, this is just for us to know a little bit more about you and your singing experience, and if this is new to you, we’ll walk you through it!
